10 or 20 credits

Students become familiar with the composition and processes involved in the creation of the Earth around us. The subject involves the study of four interacting systems: the geosphere, atmosphere, hydrosphere and biosphere and emphasises the way in which the Earth generates environments and how organisms respond to changing environments.

Course work involves extensive use of mobile technology including iPads and gives students experience collecting data in the field (outside environment).
