This course provides students with the opportunity to learn about the Australian legal system through exploring 'big questions'. Students learn how laws are made and how they control interactions between people, institutions and government. Students develop an understanding of the ways in which they can influence democracy. Students are expected to take a critical view of the legal system as well as understanding its strengths.
