National Reconciliation Week
Contributing to achieving reconciliation in Australia
National Reconciliation Week
National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The theme this year was Grounded in Truth - Walk Together with Courage.

During Reconciliation Week (27 May - 3 June), the student kitchen area was showered with coloured balloons representing the colours of the Aboriginal flag, along with invitations for students to attend a variety of activities across the week to recognise this special week. Activities included a basket weaving workshop, screening of an ABC mini-series and special guest speakers.

Meaningful conversations about reconciliation took place throughout the week between staff and students alike. On behalf of the UN Global Peace project team, we would like to thank the Thebarton Senior College community for their involvement.
