National Science Week
During week 4 of term 3, our staff and students celebrated National Science Week. This involved a range of activities at lunch and recess times to celebrate the different STEM areas of the college. This year marked the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, so many of the activities had a 'space taste' to them. This year we also had the 'Thebarton Zoo' set up in the Science foyer featuring spiders, stick insects, a blue-tongued lizard and a dunart. We also had some baby chicks that hatched during the week.
Many thanks to all of the staff and students who engaged in the activities throughout the week.
