AEU Jean Pavey Award
SACE Stage 2 Women's Studies
AEU Jean Pavey Award
Each year, the AEU (SA Branch) honours public school students who achieved a merit in SACE Stage 2 Women's Studies with the Jean Pavy Award. The award acknowledges the contribution of Jean Pavy to public education, equal pay for women and women's rights in South Australia.

Successful students are honoured at an award ceremony where they are presented with a certificate of achievement and a prize. At this ceremony, the AEU also acknowledges the important contributions of the teachers to the success of these students. It is through their passion and commitment that so many students have received this award since it was introduced in 1996.

There were two recipients of this year's Award, including Thebarton Senior College student Aisa Goga (pictured right in photo). They were presented with their award at the first AEU Branch Council meeting this year.

Congratulations to Aisa and her teacher Anne Bourke on this wonderful achievement.
