Careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
On Thursday 23 May, we held our sixth annual Beach Energy Women in STEM Breakfast. Approximately 100 school students and staff from across the three education sectors, and industry and education professionals attended.

We heard from South Australia's Chief Scientist Professor Caroline McMillen as well as Professor Yan Zhuge from Uni SA. They talked about how their career paths in STEM developed and how we all can encourage more women to take up careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Two of our SACE Stage 1 catering classes did an amazing job catering for the event. The professional preparation, range of food, serving and layout of the grazing table delighted the guests.

Congratulations to all of the staff and students who contributed to the planning and running of this event. It is a wonderful showcase of excellence and innovation at the college, and has provided useful connections to industry and further education for staff and students involved.

Thank you to Beach Energy for their ongoing sponsorship of this event.
