Design, Technology and Engineering - Digital Communication Solutions

Students focus on and develop skills in Digital Artwork in an area of interest related to screen and media including composition, thumbnail sketching, light/shadow and colour. Students complete a focused exploration of skills in using digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) and exploring new tools for creating Art.

Students also investigate other artists and their work, as well as appraising and analysing digital artworks.

This subject leads to our Screen and Media VET certificates as well as visual effects, character design (games, animation and movies), and other design industry areas.
