Exploring Identities and Futures (EIF) empowers students to delve into their aspirations, extending their horizons beyond career choices to contemplate their future. This subject facilitates self-discovery, helping students understand their position in the world, fostering a stronger sense of belonging, identity and connection. EIF equips students with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to thrive in their SACE journey, while granting them the autonomy to shape their own path by exploring personal interests, work opportunities, travel and further education.

Course Content
Students will:

  • explore identity, interests, strengths, skills and values, making choices about their learning to develop agency
  • demonstrate self-efficacy by planning and implementing actions, connecting with future aspirations
  • apply self-regulation by contributing to goal-oriented activities, seeking feedback and making decisions
  • develop communication skills through interaction, collaboration, sharing learning progress and connecting with others

Exploring me and who I want to be 50%
Taking action and showcasing my capabilities 50%

Further Info

The college will deliver either Exploring Identities and Futures or the Personal Learning Plan for students that require this for SACE completion.

This course is offered in Semester 1 and 2.
