Students study the history, literature, society, and culture in the context of one or more societies. They use both primary and secondary sources to develop knowledge and understanding of the society. Students evaluate the significance of the works of ancient historians, writers, poets, philosophers, thinkers, historians and archaeologists, in the study of ancient societies.
