Minor and Major Product
Students develop and produce two design products within their chosen field. In the minor product, they show how they came up with their idea, the practitioners they gained inspiration from, the development of their product and a work analysis. The major product follows the same format but results in a more highly refined end product.
Inquiry
Students investigate two practitioners who work within their chosen area of design and either:
Students conduct a focused exploration, application and evaluation of a skill or skills related to their design area. Students further develop, refine and apply their design skills, provide samples of these skills, and evaluate the ways they have developed and improved.
Students develop and produce two design products within their chosen field. - compare and contrast their creative processes, techniques and materials when evaluating their artwork or
- conduct an in-depth investigation into their creative processes, techniques and materials.
