This course provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate knowledge and practical skills associated with using systems, processes and materials. This is a woodwork based subject where students design and construct a medium-sized piece of furniture.

Course Content
Students use the Design and Realisation Process and a range of techniques, tools, machines, and/or systems to convert timber-based materials into useful products.

The course develops wood machining and carpentry skills, using a wide range of power tools and machines.
