In the Digital Media Lab, students will develop and apply knowledge and skills to plan, create and distribute a range of digital media products. The subject has a strong focus on exploring and developing original ideas to effectively disseminate messages to diverse audiences. Students will work on collaborative projects to create digital media products that have an impact on local and broader communities.

Overview
Students will conduct explorations, interactions and investigations to analyse and reflect on their current social and cultural contexts, and reflect on the ways in which media messages can influence social structures. They will work in a studio environment to create digital media products that promote change in their local and broader environments, applying digital communication and media skills.
