Thebarton Senior College held its 4th Annual Women in STEM Breakfast on 3 August to highlight the strong contributions that women make to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) industries with keynotes from Associate Professor Lesley Ward, Director of Mathematics Clinic at University of South Australia and Dr Karin Kassahn, Head of Technology Advancement Unit at SA Pathology. The Women in STEM Breakfast, catered for by the college's catering class, had students from local schools as well as leaders from government, industry and tertiary institutions in attendance to hear about and celebrate inspiring achievements of women in STEM.
