Remembrance Day
Lest We Forget
Remembrance Day
On Remembrance Day (11 November), our students and staff honoured and paid tribute to the bravery of all servicemen and women who have fought in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations around the world and who continue to defend our freedom and the safety of others and took time to reflect on the significance of the event by observing one minute's silence in classrooms.

Throughout Week 4, students and staff were offered the opportunity to make sustainable poppies and to contribute to a display of large colourful poppies outside of the Library by writing the name of a person who has contributed to peace on a poppy.

Our students Motahareh and Mehri also worked together to draw a giant chalk mural outside of the Walsh building that served as an acknowledgement of the courage and sacrifice of those who served their country and of our responsibility to work for the peace they fought hard to achieve. Lest we forget.
