NAP Excellence in Maths Awards
At the end of term 2, the graduating NAP (New Arrivals Program) Maths classes celebrated the success of their peers in the NAP Maths Awards. Students from each class were nominated by their class teacher based on either their academic achievement, achievement in Mangahigh or commitment to their education.

One nominated student from each class, who excelled in these fields, received a gold medal and other nominated students received a certificate. The gold medals were provided by Mangahigh due to the effort and commitment students had shown, especially three students - Samira, Minh and Insia. These three students achieved several hundred Mangahigh points and answered several hundred unique questions of high difficulty to achieve their high scores.

Medals and certificates were awarded by Phil Davies, NAP Assistant Principal, Matt Stevens, NAP STEM Coordinator and class teachers.

We congratulate all of the 2019 Semester 1 exiting NAP Maths students for their amazing work and wish them all the best in their future studies. Award winners were:

Medals: Angelina, Shikofa, Zainab, Han, Samira, Minh, Insia, Rehmatullah, Stella and Tayiba

Certificates: Nazneen, Shikofa, Naseema, Han, Samira, Minh, Insia, Rehmatullah, Muhammad, Vu Hong, Guoming, Sadiqa and Safaa

We also thank the class teachers (Bernadette Fulton, Liam Cheung, Phil Davies, Paul McGuinness, Minxy Kannampuzha, Sarandia Pagonis, Jeff Gillham and Matt Stevens) for their hard work and commitment to excellence, and for the speeches they gave for each of the students who received awards.
