OUR GARDEN
This semester, students from IELP 11 and IELP 12 worked in our college garden. Initially, the classes went on an excursion to Bunnings to select seedlings, and spent time researching the appropriate fertilizer and compost to ensure we had a healthy garden. Students really enjoyed digging and planting the vegetable seedlings, kept a close eye on the growth and have also picked produce from the garden.

For World Environment Day, students designed posters with information about the benefits of eating vegetables and the importance of a healthy diet.

We would like to thank Essie who initiated the project with us, Bunnings for donating the seedlings and compost, Shane for making the body of the scarecrow and Liam for his artistic creation of the face.
